Buy IPv4 addresses

Need IPv4 space for a network, hosting platform, cloud environment or infrastructure project?

Tell us the block size, registration region and budget. We will check what is available and explain the transfer process.

Find the right block

We work with IPv4 blocks across RIPE, ARIN, APNIC and LACNIC and can arrange inter-RIR transfers where the applicable policies allow them. The right block is determined by more than size.

We look at RIR and registration requirements, block size, country and geolocation, legacy status, previous use, reputation, blacklisting, transfer requirements and current demand.

What does IPv4 cost?

The current market range varies significantly by block size. A /24 currently closes at $25.00 – $40.00 per address, while a /16 currently closes at per address.

These are market indicators based on recorded closed sales, not quotes for a specific block. See the current IPv4 prices for the full table and methodology.

Need IPv4 for the cloud?

If you are renting public IPv4 space from a cloud provider, ownership can change the economics when your requirement is large or long term. AWS, Azure and Google Cloud support BYOIP in various forms. Our article on AWS IPv4 costs explains the calculation in more detail.

What happens after you find a block?

We agree the price and terms with both sides, open escrow, prepare the required documentation and coordinate the registry transfer. We then confirm that the block has reached your account. The buyer has three days for final due diligence after transfer. Escrow releases the funds when the transaction is complete.

If purchasing is not the right fit for your time frame, ask about leasing IPv4. You can also view blocks currently offered for sale.
