Current IPv4 prices
IPv4 prices change with block size, RIR, legacy status, reputation, previous use, geolocation and current demand. The figures below provide a market reference based on recorded closed sales.
Smaller blocks command a higher price per address than larger ranges. A /24 currently closes at $25.00 – $40.00 per address; a /19 currently closes at $13.50 – $18.00 per address.
How to read the prices
The table shows a market range by prefix size. It is not a binding quote for every block. A specific block can trade above or below the displayed range because its technical and registry history matters. Any number that is based on less than 10 sales recorded is unreliable. Real world transaction prices can differ by as much as 30 percent being the difference between a heavily blacklisted ARIN large block and a clean never used before RIPE Legacy block from a very reputable company.
What changes the value of a block?
We consider prefix size, RIR region, legacy or RIR-allocated status, country and geolocation, previous announcements, blacklisting and abuse history, reputation, transfer conditions and buyer demand.
For buyers
Use the table to set a working budget, then tell us the size and region you need. We can check current availability and the relevant transfer route. Read about buying IPv4.
For sellers
Use the table as a benchmark, then ask for a valuation of the actual block. The sale strategy for a large range can differ from the strategy for a small block. Read about selling IPv4 and leasing IPv4.

Updated 7 October 2026, refreshed automatically twice a day. The range runs from the 25th percentile of recorded sales up to the highest recorded sale for that prefix size, compiled from online sources, all RIRs, standard terms only. The sales figure is the number of recorded transactions in the period; a range resting on only a handful of sales should be read as indicative only. € at the ECB reference rate (1 € = $1.1269). All figures are crude estimates for orientation only; see the disclaimer above. Legacy status, reputation, RIR, size, prior use and region move the price of any specific block — ask us for a quote.
How to read the table
The range runs from the 25th percentile of recorded sales up to the highest price recorded for that prefix size, so most transactions sit inside it and a quarter sit below the lower figure. A clean, never-announced block in a sought-after region sells towards the top; a block with a blacklisting history sells at or below the bottom. The “sales recorded” column tells you how much data sits behind each range — a range built on five sales is worth less than one built on fifty. Block value is the range multiplied by the number of addresses, in US dollars, the currency the market quotes in.
What moves the price of a specific block
Legacy blocks (allocated before the RIRs existed) trade at a premium because they carry no registry fees and fewer restrictions. Blacklisted or recently abused space is discounted until cleaned. Blocks that have never been announced fetch more than heavily used ones. RIR region matters, and so do country and geolocation tags, because many buyers need addresses that geolocate to a specific market. Inter-RIR transfers add paperwork and time, which the price reflects.
For a quote on your block, or for what a block of a given size will actually cost you this week, contact us – we quote from the deals we are closing, not from a table. Who transferred which block to whom is published in full here. What we are holding today is listed on the blocks for sale page. We act for buyers and for sellers, and where owning the space is not the right answer we also arrange leases.
